Every bride at Town & Country enjoys a private suite for her appointment — it’s your moment, and we want it to feel that way. Our Classic Bridal Appointment is 90 minutes. If you’re dreaming of more time to soak it all in, upgrade your experience with our Bubbles & Bites or The White Room appointments. These upgraded appointment are 2 hours. Start by browsing our Instagram and website to create your wishlist. Your stylist will reach out prior to your appointment so that you can send over the gowns that draw you in the most! As far as what to bring — you don’t have to bring anything other than your beautiful self! But if you want to feel extra prepared, we recommend bringing undergarments similar to what you plan to wear on your big day, as well as shoes with a heel height close to what you’re envisioning.

Unfortunately our stylists can’t see the gowns you favorite online. But don’t worry, before your appointment we’ll reach out so you can share your favorites and inspiration directly with us. That way, your stylist has a clear picture of your vision and can begin curating gowns just for you.
We recommend shopping for your gown 10-12 months before your big day! Bridal gowns can take 6 months to come in and you want to make sure you have enough time for alterations as well as bridal portraits. However, we do have options to get gowns in sooner should you have a quicker wear date!
Bridal gowns typically take 4–6 months to arrive, depending on the designer and style. We’ll walk you through expected timelines at your appointment so you can order with confidence and peace of mind. If your wedding date is sooner, don’t worry — we’ll show you options with quicker delivery or off-the-rack availability so you’ll be aisle-ready right on time.
Almost all bridal gowns do need alterations to ensure your gown fits your body perfectly. Bridal gowns are made in standard sizing, so these additional alterations will help make your gown truly yours. The cost of alterations is a separate investment and is not included in the price of the gown.
We provide all of our brides with a list of local seamstresses throughout Louisiana. Alterations are a separate investment and are not done by or at Town and Country Bridal.
Not every gown can be customized, but many can! Certain designers allow custom changes — and the great news is that over seventy percent of our in-store collection offers customization options. Whether it’s adding sleeves, adjusting a neckline, or personalizing details, our stylists will guide you through which gowns can be customized to your vision.
Our gowns range from $1500-$12,000 with the majority of our inventory between $2500-$5000. In addition, we do offer the opportunity to purchase off the rack gowns from our in-stock inventory at incentive pricing. We'd love to help you find the dress! Yes! We carry almost anything and everything you can think of to complete your beautiful bridal look. From veils and jewels to gloves, capes, and scarves — we’ve got everything you need here at Town and Country Bridal! Most brides do choose their accessories when they say “YES” to the dress. It’s the best way to fully envision your complete bridal look when you’re standing in YOUR dress!
We cater to brides Sizes 00-34. We have a beautiful collection of size inclusive wedding dress samples in-store Size 20+. Once you find THE DRESS, we special order your gown based on your measurements.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards! We offer 2 payment options. You may either pay ay in full, or you may choose to finance your gown with us, accompanied by a 5% financing fee. A minimum of 60% deposit is required to order.
Because each gown is special and almost always made-to-order, all sales are final — we do not accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges.
In true Garden District / Uptown New Orleans fashion, we do not have a parking lot. However, there is AMPLE on street metered and non-metered parking directly in front of our store and on the immediate side streets. We are nestled between a pharmacy and a church.
Yes, we are! We have a wheelchair ramp as well as an elevator since our building is multiple stories. We do recommend giving us a call before you arrive so that one of our team members can assist you!
